Onz

Terms of Use

Effective 26 October 2026

The short version

These terms are an agreement between you and Moses Yek, the developer of Onz ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Onz, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Onz.

1. Who can use Onz

You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live (or have a parent's or guardian's permission). You may only have one account and must give accurate sign-up details.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it. You can delete your account at any time in Account → Delete account.

3. Your content

Trips, places, notes, links, photos and other things you add are "your content". You keep ownership of it. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy and display your content only as needed to run Onz, for example to sync it to your devices and show it to the people in your trip. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other members already have in a shared trip and backups that expire on their own.

You confirm you have the right to share your content and that it doesn't break any law or anyone else's rights.

4. Community rules: zero tolerance

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post or share content, or use names or photos, that:

You can report content or people from within the app, and organizers can remove members and decline join requests. We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content and suspend or delete the accounts of anyone who breaks these rules, without notice.

5. Using Onz fairly

Don't misuse Onz. That includes trying to access other people's trips or accounts, getting around credit or usage limits, creating multiple accounts to gain credits or referral rewards, scraping or automated access, reverse engineering the app (except where the law allows), or interfering with how Onz works.

6. Credits and purchases

7. Travel information

Onz shows places, opening hours, travel times, routes and suggestions from third-party services such as Apple Maps and Google. This information may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Onz is a planning tool only: check details yourself, follow local laws and guidance, and use your own judgement about your safety. We aren't responsible for the places you visit, bookings you make, or any third-party website you open from a link.

8. Our app and changes to it

Onz, including its design, code and name, belongs to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial trip planning. We may add, change or remove features, and may stop offering Onz. If we shut Onz down, we'll give reasonable notice and a way to export your trips where practical.

If you downloaded Onz from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement also applies. Apple isn't responsible for Onz or its content, and isn't a party to these terms, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce them against you.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Onz and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if required by law, or to protect other users. Sections 3 (the parts about shared trips), 6, 7, 10, 11 and 12 continue to apply after your account ends.

10. Disclaimers

Onz is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that Onz will always be available, error-free or secure, or that information in it is accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as missed trips, bookings or lost data, and our total liability to you for any claim about Onz is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction, unless the consumer laws of the country you live in give you the right to bring a claim locally.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are important, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Onz after that means you accept the new terms.
